Hailing from Modesto in California’s Central Valley, Michael enjoys experiencing the natural wonders of God’s creation through backpacking and hiking. He values his tight-knit German Baptist roots, and growing up with two brothers ensures he always keeps a healthy competitive edge.
When not working, Michael loves diving into side projects, learning new skills, and exploring novel ideas that catch his interest. Driven by this constant enthusiasm for jumping into new ventures, he has a propensity for starting many new books without quite finishing them.
